Military Collectibles - Pappy Boyington and Black Sheep
This wonderful montage pays tribute to the Black Sheep Squadron.
It contains an 8x10 glossy photo of the squadron posing on the wings and in front of an F-4U Corsair, and is signed in ink or felt tip by Tom Emrich, Ed Harper, R.W. McClurg, Ed Olander, Jim Hill and Bruce Matheson.
The piece also contains a personal check filled out and signed “Gregory Boyington,” dated March 28, 1984.
The artist has also included a reproduction of the VMF-214 Black Sheep patch.
This rare piece is double matted with acid free mat boards. Front and back. Ultraviolet light proof plexiglass is used to prevent fading and prevent damage should the piece ever fall. It will not break or damage during shipping.
Black anodized metal framing is used for strength and to prevent chipping.
